Part Time Residential Sales Rep
SUMMARY: Promote new services and products offered by Time Warner Cable to residential subscribers and non-subscribers to increase penetration and incremental company revenue. Other duties may also be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Previous sales experience is required. Door to door experience is a plus.
• Must display a neat and professional appearance.
• Must be aggressive and self-motivated.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license and an excellent driving record and provide your own reliable transportation.
• Must maintain the minimum insurance on personal vehicle as required by Time Warner Cable.
• Must have excellent reading, writing, people, and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must have the ability to add service amounts and compute tax rates.
• Must be able to identify customer needs, wants, and desires in conversation and match with company products.
• Must be able to work approximately 90% of the time in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18 hours not to exceed 20 hours per week in the field.
JOB DUTIES:
• Adhere to the company vision, mission and philosophies.
• Conduct quality in-house sales presentations by soliciting new and existing Time Warner Cable customers door to door.
• Generate a minimum of 14 new customer confirmed connects each fiscal month.
• Maintain accurate customer records for services and equipment requested.
• Contact a minimum of 85% of issued leads.
• Must be able to submit a monthly calendar of planned work schedule.
• Retrieve unreturned equipment.
• Maintain privacy of subscriber data.
• Maintain a positive company image and provide excellent customer service in all transactions.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Safeguard company equipment such as converters, remote controls, house drop materials, etc.
• Achieve established sales goals and quotas for Time Warner Cable products and services.
OTHER COMMENTS: Employee is regularly required to walk up and down stairs, lift up to 20 lbs., and work rapidly for long periods, sit/stand for long periods and type and read on the computer for long periods. Employee will also be exposed to wet and humid conditions as well as extreme heat and cold.
Current employees are eligible to apply provided they meet the qualifications of this posting, have maintained standards in all areas of responsibilities for the previous six months and have been in their present position for six months. Under certain circumstances, exceptions to this policy will be allowed. This position requires attendance at work of at least 97% of the scheduled work time and excellent punctuality at work and meetings. EOE/M/F/V/D
