Part-Time Market Research Analsyt with Strong Access Skills

Our client, located in a near west suburb of Chicago, is seeking a Part-Time Market Research Analyst with strong Access skills who will leverage market intelligence to drive business results.  This position will provide consultation and perspective on key business decisions; develop and facilitate with industry leaders; act as research lead for key client relationships and maintain organizational knowledge of market trends and industry developments. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide consultation and perspective to management on key business decisions, integrating customer intelligence and market insights with an understanding of the broader business context.- Develop and facilitate collaborations with industry leaders.- Elevate the role of market research within the company and with the industry.  Provide strategic vision, unique insights and thought leadership.- Act as research lead for key client. - Analyze syndicated and internal data and develop information for decision-making, marketplace innovation, and market segment management.- Maintain organizational knowledge of market trends and industry developments. - Expected to be conversant with custom research methodologies, adept at client management, and able to lead custom research projects to deliver compelling strategic and tactical insights. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred. - A minimum of 2 years relevant experience including: design and analysis of research, managing client relationships, and providing consultative perspective.- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Experience with Access or other research analysis software and advanced statistical knowledge is required.- Strong presentation/verbal skills.- Must be proactive with strong leadership skills.- A background in product innovation research a plus.- 20% travel required.  For a complete list of our open positions, please visit our website at www.jobsforsuccess.com.
