Currently, we are seeking an experienced Process Engineer II in Paris, Texas. Position Summary:Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design,develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processesin a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.The Process Engineer for this role will provide guidance indesign, development, optimization and implementation of process engineering. Candidates must have expertiseacross multiple technologies and will have a demonstratedability to effectively interface with a broad range of teammembers. The incumbent reports to an Engineering TeamLeader and receives direction in the form of specificproject objectives. Responsibilities:1)Lead product or process improvement projects with afinancial scope of up to $5 million from conception tocommercialization.2)Provide functional guidance in the initiation, design,development and optimization of converting and manufacturing equipment and processes tomeet unit objectives.3)Develop knowledge and skills in application ofengineering principles, scientific analysis, and projectmanagement.4)Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and wellbeing of operators, maintenance and other personnel.5)Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives. Identifycomplex technical issues to determine root cause. Initiate,design, optimize and develop manufacturing and supportingprocesses.Qualifications:1)Candidates must possess a bachelor's or advanced degreein Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Pulpand Paper from an ABET accredited College or University.2)A minimum of 5 years of experience in a variety oftechnical or operational assignments.3)A minimum of 5 years experience as a Process Engineer. Preferred Qualifications:1)Strong knowledge and background in Process Engineering including technology understanding and developmentwith a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledgeinto execution of process and capacity improvements inmajor capital projects.2)Up to 12 years of experience in a variety of plant andstaff assignments, including maintenance and operations.3)Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark engineeringprocedures and processes.4)Candidates with a bachelor's or advanced degree in arelevant scientific discipline and possessing applicableexperience may also be considered.5)Ability to work independently or to lead a team tocomplete projects within required time frames.6)Experience using manufacturing analysis tools.Click here to apply via the Kimberly Clark Career Opportunity PortalExpected Travel Time: None
