We are currently seeking Planners for a medical company in Mahwah, NJ. Responsibilities: Planner must demonstrate the ability to work in and be challenged by a team-based environment, which places a high degree of emphasis on accountability for customer service levels, inventory management, cost reduction and quality/GMP compliance. Experience in heavy planning, shop floor controls, forecasting, management of resources/vendors and all inventories (GF, WIP, Raw) to achieve team and business goals with suppliers. Maintain strong lines of communication with teammates, vendors, business units, cost accounting, IT, QA, customer service and distribution to ensure that all ideas and issues are addressed. Maintain all material control-related systems to refect changes of customer demand. Interface with Quality Assurance to work quality related issues. Reconcile Supplier Invoices and Receipts. Update Purchase Orders in Oracle. Generate Various Reports in Excel. Track/Status/Prioritize Material in the manufacturing plant. Qualifications: 1+ years in purchasing/supplier management of direct materials in regulated environment (FDA, FAA, etc.) and involving the procurement of make to print items. The Ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter that can work under minimal supervision with good listening and communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and superior organizational and planning skills; Basic understanding of Engineering practices.Job Experience:BA/BS degree in Engineering.Demonstrated ability to manage large amounts of data. Highly detail oriented. Strong background in Excel including but not limited to the use of; pivot tables and vlookups. Experience using an ERP system, with Oracle being ideal. Strong interpersonal skills.
