Based in Dallas, ACS is a FORTUNE 500 company of 62,000 people supporting client operations reaching more than 100 countries.It would be hard for you to go through a day without encountering the products or services of our many clients in communications, education, energy, financial services, government, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail, travel, and transportation.May perform one or more of the following:CLINICAL MANAGER (Based in Washington), DC Provides analytical assistance and clinical advice to MAAAvailable for daily access to MAAMeets or exceeds 24 hour response time to inquiries from MAAMeets with MAA no less than weeklyCoordinates and actively participates in the District’s typically monthly P&T Committee meetingsDirects and monitors all clinical operations Manages all functions of the clinical staffProvides analytical assistance and clinical advice to MAAProvides clinical support for new and existing MAA clinical efforts Provides pharmacy program analyses as requested by MAA, including review and evaluation of utilization data for areas of improvement for both clinical impact and cost effectiveness of the pharmacy programResponsible for Prior Authorization (PA)Directs activities of Call staff responsible for PA CenterCommunicates with medical professionals regarding PA Functions as the liaison between ACS and MAA clinical personnelFunctions as the liaison between ACS and provider personnelAssists with PDL development as neededProvides assistance for DUR issues including but not limited to the DUR criteria to be used in the ProDUR programPerforms data analysis, trending, and forecasting Serves as drug information resourceDevelops and maintains clinical collateral as requiredCoordinates and facilitates resolutions to clinical issuesPrepares and presents program status reports with recommendations when necessary Required QualificationsLicensed in the District of Columbia as of the date of the award of contract and in good standing with the District Board of PharmacyPrior or current experience with a pharmacy program similar in size and scope as the services described in Section C of the DC PBM RFPThree years clinical pharmacy experienceTwo years experience in managementPharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy Current license from a state Pharmacy Review Board (or immediately eligible for licensure at time of hire)Must not be under suspension from Medicare or MedicaidMust not be previously sanctioned for fraud or abuseDetail orientation and strong organizational skillsMaturity of judgment under pressure/ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective mannerPersonal integrity and demonstrated commitment to sound, ethical, moral, and legal business standards and practicesAbility to work in a team-oriented environment and proficient with multiple types of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applicationsGood written/report writing and verbal communications skills demonstrating clarityAbility to work in high-stress, fast-paced environmentPrior ExperienceExperience in a Medicaid fiscal agent environment or PBM experienceAll other duties as assigned.ACS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not Discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion/creed, national origin, gender, or sex, marital status, age, disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by Federal or State law or local ordinance.
