Order Management/Customer Service Representative

Our client, a well-known International Oil and Gas firm located in DT Houston is seeking an Order Management Associate/Customer Service Representative.

 

Individual will be responsible for the following:

 

-Handling incoming calls (Drivers, Supply Terminals, Retail Account order inquiries, complaints, etc.; placing outbound calls and directing calls for further problem resolution, if necessary

-Operations Management: Handling Driver Calls (50 - 100 per day, depending on region) for assigned region, records Service Request for each and thoroughly documents action/resolution

-Understanding customer needs and how they are supported by the business processes

-Documenting issues that require follow-up

-Regularly reviewing retailer Service Requests assigned to specific scope/region to resolve issues within assigned service level timeframe

-Gaining familiarity with regional issues which may impact delivery performance/operations

-Understanding general rules for processing exceptions and how to handle situations that arise from delivery/system constraints

-Providing suggestions for improvements within the center on a regular basis

-Other duties as required

 

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

 

- Must be able to work any schedule from 6:00am - 10:30pm, Monday through Sunday

- 1+ yrs customer service or any logistics or dispatching experience a plus

- Prior SAP/Siebel experience preferred!

- Professional written and verbal communication skills required

 

Intermediate computer skills required
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem solving skills - ability to make decision on the spot
- Ability to manage competing demands through multitasking
