POSITION SUMMARY

 

As member of Merix’ Global ERP development team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting conversions, extensions, interfaces and reports in the Oracle 11i E-Business Suite applications environment on a global 24x7 platform.  You will possess a high level of functional knowledge in one or more of the major Business areas - Manufacturing, Order Management, Shipping, Planning, Purchasing, or Finance.  In addition, your core competency for this position will be Oracle development tools that will enable you to design and develop application extensions, integrations, conversions, reports modification/creation, standard workflows, and database schema changes.

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Develop and support custom extensions/interfaces in an Oracle 11i E-Business Suite applications environment.

· Work with the U.S. Team to develop best practices for coding

· Develop drill down business reports

· Adhere to development standards, processes, guidelines and procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley Change Management standards

· Produce unit test scripts and support all testing activities.

· Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best technical solution to support the most efficient business processes

· Performs new module implementations, upgrades, and application integrations, etc.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

 

Required QualificationsA minimum of three years of Oracle EBS experience Experience using Oracle EBS 11.5.10 Experience with Oracle development tools: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, XML Publisher, Discoverer 10g, and Workflow Builder Familiarity with Oracle EBS custom development requirements – Forms personalization, Custom PLL Experience with Oracle EBS Open Interfaces and API’s; data conversions, EDI, data interfacing Must be technically proficient and functionally knowledgeable in at least one Oracle EBS modules (e.g. WIP, GL, OM, etc.), including knowledge of the underlying data model as well as basic process and data flowA proven track record developing and documenting systems requirements, designing and prototyping and testing under multiple deadlines solutions and offer technical solutions for business problems Skilled at technical problem solving and software change management Proven documentation and communication skills in a project based environment Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONSIDERATIONS

 

· Possible Travel to Asia – 10 to 20%

· Some overtime required around conversion & go-live times

 

Desired Qualifications:

· Knowledge of JSP (OA), TOAD

· Experience with Oracle EBS R12

· Knowledge of PCB industry
