Nurse Manager II Med/Surg Unit

THR has 13 hospitals with more than 3,300 licensed hospital beds, employs more than 18,250 people and counts more than 3,700 physicians with active staff privileges at its hospitals- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Minimum of 3 years experience in management or leadership roles - Current Texas RN license. - Skills essential for this position include verbal, written, delegation, supervision and basic computer skills - Neurology experience Preferred Qualifications: - Master's prepared RN Duties : - Manages coordination of patient care provided to assure a multidisciplinary and collaborative process - Manages unit operations and budget, including supply, payroll and communications - Assumes responsibility as Chief Recruitment and Retention Officer - Monitors unit opportunities for process improvement in collaboration with CNS/CES/Council Representative and promotes and environment conducive to changePresbyterian Hospital of Dallas, a Magnet facility, is searching for a Nurse Manager II (Job ID # 8734) for our Neurology/Short Stay Unit.
