Fleet Maintenance Manager (Bellevue/Lynnwood, WA) JOB3583

Waste and Recycling services company seeks an ambitious, experienced and motivated leader to manage the truck fleet maintenance team for their Bellevue and Lynnwood, WA operations. We are seeking a quality candidate with experience, drive and sustainable energy. We need a motivator, team-builder and team-player; a true “people-person” with strong technical capabilities. We’re looking for a self-starter, capable of making independent decisions; not requiring a lot of direct supervision to get the job done. We are looking for someone whose style is engaged and involved to coach, train and mentor to the Union Shop Technicians; a strong technical background is a must! Honesty, dependability and expense management are three key factors in the successful candidate for this position.
This Fleet Maintenance Manager will have experience in heavy duty truck/equipment maintenance and repairs, follow-up, safety, equipment checks, and paperwork completion. This position is responsible for approximately 12+ employees and 100 trucks at two facilities. He/she will also have responsibility for the container repair shop.
**REQUIRED**

Also, significant experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment,
and thorough knowledge of electrical and hydraulics is a MUST.
Although not required, previous experience as a Fleet/Shop Manager
for a solid waste/garbage hauling company is preferred.
(ie: Allied Waste, Waste Management, Republic Services, etc)
OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Previous management experience with regard to the financial end of running a shop (budgets, P&L, etc)
· Very comfortable with B.I.T. inspections and D.O.T. law
· Knowledge and experience with the environmental components of running a shop; storm-water monitoring, MSDS recordkeeping,
· PC proficiency
· **Strong organizational skills**
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Requires High School diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
Approximately $75k-$90k/year base (DOE) + bonus

Waste and Recycling services company seeks an ambitious, experienced and motivated leader to manage the truck fleet maintenance team at their shop in the Tacoma, Washington area. We are seeking a quality candidate with experience, drive and boundless energy. We need a motivator and a team-builder; a true “people-person”. This Manager will have experience in heavy duty truck/equipment maintenance and repairs, follow-up, safety, equipment checks, and paperwork completion.
This Fleet Maintenance Manager position is responsible for approximately 20 employees and 150 trucks, and 50 other pieces of equipment. He/she will also have responsibility for the container repair shop.
**REQUIRED**
**PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MANAGING A WASTE HAULING COMPANY SHOP**
(i.e. Waste Management, Allied Waste, BFI, Republic Services, etc.)
