A global leader in the E&P enterprise software solutions space is seeking an exceptional geo-software sales manager with significant national client sales experience. Salary to US $250K+ per annum. Title: National Account Manager Location: Houston, TX Open To: U.S. Candidates Position Overview: Our client is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry. They are currently seeking a National Account Sales Manager to grow sales of software, PCS and software related services to both existing and new clients. The successful candidate will: Be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer relationship, including sales, delivery and post contract services satisfaction, and, develop Territory Business Plans to maximize potential in assigned territories. They will be accountable for meeting and exceeding corporate assigned goals and expectations Generate new opportunities and capitalize on existing opportunities, and manage the sales process across the client’s entire solutions range; to include developing a comprehensive understanding of customers’ business, economic drivers, organizational structure, and technology/infrastructure Work with existing network of agents/resellers nationally within Canada and execute plan to add additional agents/reseller. If and when needed, have the ability and experience to manage and mentor staff. Potential for this position to grow into an even greater management role Must be willing and able to travelPosition Requirements: Position requires a solid understanding of the oil & gas E&P process, account planning and management skills, and understanding of the main stages of the sales cycle Higher education (university degree) in geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering; Business school degree or business courses a plus 5-7 years of experience in sales within geo-scientific arenas, and within CanadaCompensation: Annual salary will be between US $180-250K+ depending on experience and qualifications.
