NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

We're seeking an energetic individual to provide vision, direction, enthusiasm, and skill in leading WESCO to identify and implement strategic and operational service and value improvements in selling and delivering products and services to our customers, facilitating growth in sales, earnings and shareholder value.  This role touches all WESCO operations and reports directly to the Director, National Accounts. Responsibilities: Lead, coordinate and participate in the following sale and implementation activities: Solicit new business opportunities from large multi location customers and Fortune 500 companies, respond to Customer RFQ’s & RFI’s. Negotiate contracts Conduct new key customer roll-out meetings at key customer locations Facilitate completion of Customer Implementation Checklists Lead local implementation team meetings with key customers Provide guidance to local WESCO branch in implementing smaller customer site locations Improve GAP between sales potential and current sales Implement/coordinate WESCO Business Development Activities Create and document Customer Value Add and create incremental sales opportunities Lead and direct creative incremental sales activities with customers, branches and team members Conduct branch/customer training on national account and customer processes Lead peers in executing sales strategies, make things happen, contribute to bottom line     Job Requirements: 7-10 years' outside sales, sales management experience in electrical distribution industry with Fortune 500 customers Ability to creatively lead peers in creative sales initiatives/self starter Operational background preferred or in conjunction with sales Well rounded sales, operations and preferred training Experience managing sales initiatives and salespeople for 3 years 4-year college degree Proficient in managing, tracking and leading creative sales initiatives Proficient in managing and creating sales analysis, setting goals, developing and driving results-oriented activities Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and data analysis Job Code : 7104-SW Division/Department : WESCO Distribution, Inc Exemption : Exempt
