Job Description:Basic Function: Provide monitoring support to internal/external clients Customers, during network test exercises, actual disaster recoveries and in support of production services. This includes all levels of problem determination and resolution using various diagnostic monitoring tools and equipment, and service provider resources to successful completion.Respond to all alerts/alarms in a timely fashion following procedures to resolve issues quickly.Assemble and update documentation in the form of problem and change management tickets. Provide technical assistance to all our clients internal/external Customers during circuit outages.Coordinate with Network Service Providers to resolve outages and initial activation.Support of our clients Global Network, which consists of Layer1, 2 and 3 network components.Gain a base familiarity with client base and the network resources being utilized by all of our clients internal/external Customers. Use this information to assist in resolving network issues or troubleshooting network outages or impairments. Assist in implementing internal/external Customer's disaster recovery networks, with varying organizations within our client. Provide IOC Networking team with layer 1 and 2 support on various networking devices.
