Products Tested: Cheese, spices, powders, flavorings, dairy products, beef, etc.
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 1st shift
Pay: $13.00-14.00/hr
Tasks:Prepare sample for analysis by recording, weighing and blendingPipette sample solution into tubes or plates according to the analysis process being performed. HomogenizationAseptic techniquePour agar into plates or tubes to begin the growth processWeigh appropriate amount of sample and pour correct enrichment to perform 1:10 dilutionHandling of food borne pathogensMaintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that is required to complete job responsibilities.Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process; follow all appropriate SOP's and Methods.Work as part of a team to complete all sample prep duties on a daily basis.Assist other departmental personnel with analysis procedures
