Meter Reader

METER READER (PT) $14.70/HR JR 3654EH & 3758EH Locates, reads & records utility electric and/or water meters for residential & commercial customers. Required to walk, stand, crawl, climb, bend, twist, turn or stoop for extended periods of time. Required to drive a District vehicle each day & may be required to drive for durations lasting up to 2 hrs or more. Required to get in & out of the vehicle frequently during the day. Requires ability to lift & move up to 50 lbs.; HS diploma or equivalent; successful completion of meter reading cognitive test, driving test, physical exam & interview. Requires a valid WA State Driver's License with a good driving record. Prefer exp w/electronic data capture device (hand held meter reader computer).
