DESCRIPTION: In this position you will partner with Buyer/Merchandise Manager to develop, implement and manage initial purchase plans, evaluate inventory levels by Store Rank, provide historical performance analysis, and provide leadership and direction to the allocators. Offer recommendations regarding sales performance, flow, promotional and markdown cadence, turn and gross profit, and BOM targets Manage the in-season forecast process including performance analysis Identify opportunities and liabilities and recommend appropriate action Convert Class and Subclass Dollar Plans into Unit Plans Develop monthly unit sales plans for each Store Rank Establish "Average Store" unit quantity for each BOM in each class and subclass Ensure unit receipts are allocated to need (open to ship) Perform in-season monthly review of store selling versus plan and LY Establish "Hot" and "Cold" store lists for allocators to address Establish turn goals and inventory caps for "Space-Challenged Stores" Suggest assortment edits based upon performance metricsQualifications: Four year college degree 2 years experience as a merchandise planner Ability to manage the classification and store planning process while supervising and providing direction to allocation Experience with NSB (STS/MMS), JDA, or RETEK planning and allocation applications Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Excel Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Experience with a Compliance Management System (CMS) a plus Benefits and Compensation: · Competitive Salary · 401K/Profit Sharing Plan · 529 College Savings Plan · Medical, Dental, Life Insurance · Store Wide Discounts · Fitness Center· Cafeteria on Site· Vacation, Sick, Holiday, Personal Paid-Time Off Company: BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY Location: Burlington, NJ 08016 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY Address: 1830 Route 130 NBurlington,NJ 08016 Email: Apply by Email
