At Millennium, we're big on results, not formality.Position Summary:As a field-based scientific and therapeutic expert, you will be responsible for building and leveraging relationships with external partners in order to optimize the appropriate use of Millennium's products and services.The Heartland Territory includes N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, & Missouri.Duties and Responsibilities:Integrate the desired clinical and commercial outcomes with your extensive product, disease-state, and target market knowledge to help Millennium implement effective strategies.Work with Commercial and Clinical personnel to compile, assimilate, and present pertinent scientific information to targeted audiences.Apply your knowledge of the medical community to independently identify non-clinical and clinical investigators and key opinion leaders in order to build effective peer-level relationships that can integrate the oncology community.Integrate key opinion leaders into Millennium activities (e.g. advisory boards, consultant forums, and publication planning).Develop, maintain, and leverage strategic relationships with professional societies.Apply scientific and market knowledge to participate in the development and integration of product strategy, research initiatives, and customer strategy (e.g. market preparation, investigator-initiated research, clinical trial design, and commercial strategy).Acquire and maintain ongoing scientific expertise relevant to the oncology field.Integrate scientific knowledge of therapeutics, marketing, and product lifecycle management to identify potential obstacles to appropriate expansion of therapeutic use, and develop possible solutions.Demonstrate project leadership and management capabilities in driving appropriate company initiatives.Communicate field activities to all appropriate personnel.Adhere to internal standard processes and comply with all regulatory requirements.This position involves travel of up to 50%.Qualifications:Basic qualifications:Minimum of a Master's degree in clinical/life sciences. The position requires at least 3 years within the pharmaceutical industry (MSL role, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Sales, or Marketing) or at least 3 years within a clinical practice setting.Preferred qualifications:Advanced degree preferred (i.e. MD, PharmD, PhD) and at least 3 years experience in the oncology pharmaceutical industry (MSL role, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Sales, or Marketing).
