• Normal Work Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Position is covered by the IUOE Local 99 CBA

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance Required

 

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the collection, safeguarding, processing, destruction, and transportation of classified materials.
• Collect, load, and unload material within warehouse or storage facility.
• Utilize company truck, hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and/or other handling equipment to move material. Disassemble computers, circuit boards, hard drives, tapes, tape drives, and associated hardware for destruction.
• Operate de-gausers for erasing data from hard disks and tapes.
• Load material into disintegrators for destruction.
• Transport and unload classified waste material in company truck to various processing staging facilities within the Washington Metropolitan area.
• Performs housekeeping in the disintegrator room and equipment areas.

 

Qualifications
• TS/SCI Security Clearance Required
• Two (2) years experience of classified destruction
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs
• Possess and maintain a Valid Drivers License
• Driving record must meet employer's insurance carrier standards
• Must be able to drive a Standard (manual shift) truck
