Master Scheduler

Placement Pros, the commericial division of Vedior North America (third largest staffing organization in the world) is currently searching for qualified Master Schedulers in the Raleigh, NC area. This position will be temp to regular after six months based on job performance and attendance.

This position encompasses the development of the master schedule to ensure appropriate utilization of physical and human resources responsive to various contracts involving such processes as production, test, inspection and overhaul. It also includes modifying the master schedule, as appropriate, to
accommodate unforeseen delays and developing approaches to eliminate or mitigate delays.

Work with the supply management and transportation field, for expediting and scheduling out all necessary deliveries for schedule to stay on track and OTD requirements.

Requires strong technical and business skills to evaluate and solve complex technical and fianacial problems and to cost effectively meet tigh schedules that may involve multiple projects, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the Company objectives.

Determine most effective means of accomplishing objectives, develpoe schedules, conduct and coordinate related activities. Ensure timely delivery of quality information and materials, product quality and field service product performance. Maintain close contact with customes and project participants to identify and resolve issues of mutual concern and to seek opportunities for additional business. Ensure timely contract completion, customer satisfaction and desired financial return. Manage project risks to avoid incurring penalties, warranty repairs or other charges that may have substantial financial impact. In conjunction with related groups, develop business projections and implement strategies to achieve growth/profitability objectives and ensure responsiveness to customers.Provide technical direction and review decisions of staff performing lower level work.
