Marketing Manager, Membership

InfoComm is seeking a Marketing Manager for its Membership Department. The Marketing Manager is responsible for day-to-day marketing to support Membership Department programs.

The Marketing Manager works with Marketing Department staff to develop marketing plans and strategies with timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure the success of Membership’s objectives. The Marketing Manager also serves as project manager to implement marketing plans and measure the success of print and web campaigns.

In addition, the Marketing Manager oversees all Membership collateral materials, working collaboratively with Membership staff on creation, reviews, approvals, adoption and use of these materials to maximize the investment in these materials (handbook, business kit, workforce kit, html emails, invitations, flyers, tradeshow materials and others). The Marketing Manager also follows a consistent style throughout promotional materials and events.

The Marketing Manager produces some creative and requests creative, working closely with the Marketing Services Department and designers. The Marketing Manager works in a cooperative and collaborative way within Membership and across other departments to meet deadlines and budgets and to adhere to systems and processes used by the Association.

The Marketing Manager also monitors the Membership pages of the Association’s website, recommending changes, seeking new copy, writing and editing copy, updating pages and/or working with Marketing Services to ensure timely, accurate and promotional content to support Memberships Programs.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual should have excellent verbal and written communications skills, writing and editing skills, organizational skills and marketing experience. Individual should have knowledge of printing processes, publication development, marketing materials development, marketing workflow and processes, brand adherence, list compilation and rental, postage requirements, direct mail handling through mailhouses, direct marketing, online marketing and database extraction for marketing to specific target audiences. Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat required.

Creativity, ability to work independently and collaboratively and a can-do attitude essential. College degree preferred in communications, journalism or business and 5-8 years related experience. Experience in an association environment preferred. Some travel required.
