Marketing & Events Coordinator

Human Capital Solutions, LLC, the parent company of JobCircle.com and hired! Magazine, is actively seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator.

 

At HCS, our mission is to help jobseekers and employers connect.  We sell many products to companies to help them connect with jobseekers, including job fairs, magazine advertising, banner ad campaigns, email blasts, voicemail campaigns, open house promotions, and of course, JobCircle.com, our award-winning local job board.

 

The Marketing & Events Coordinator position is responsible for assisting in the execution of 20+ career events per year in the Philadelphia area, as well as other mid-Atlantic areas. The ideal candidate for this position will be very detailed-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Some responsibilities of this position include:Coordinate the logistics of all career events (managing vendor relationships, catering, AV needs, signage, booth layout, nametags, sign-in sheets, etc.)Track job fair sales and manage budgets to obtain a pre-determined profit margin for each event.Act as liaison between the sales team and the clients – providing clients with information about the events, creating online accounts, providing event set-up information, collecting company profiles for show guides and answering any general event questions.Assist in the development of advertising & marketing plans in order to drive candidates to events – negotiate and buy media, develop creative. Create sales materials and maintain website copy.Put together exhibitor packages for each event.Travel to each event (limited overnight travel required).Execute other marketing functions as determined by management



Requirements for the position:

Must be extremely detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Must have some previous experience planning & purchasing advertising.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Mastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerpointGraphic design background a plus.HTML knowledge a plus
