  Job Description Title: Manager of Global Sourcing Position ID: 223 Location: Muncie, IN Client Summary:  We’re currently working with a consumer products organization that operates in a virtually recession- proof niche.  You wouldn’t recognize their name, but more than likely you own and use many of their products in your home every day.  Based upon an ongoing expansion, they are searching for a Manager of Global Procurement with experience in international sourcing to join their team.  The right individual will have the opportunity to put their own signature on the future direction of an entrepreneurial- spirited company. -  $500M consumer goods company that has grown 200% and is forecasted to double in size over the next 2 years;-  Manufacturing and distribution locations worldwide. Position Description: -  Global Sourcing Manager reporting to the Director of Purchasing;-  Full responsibility for all finished goods sourcing of products whose base commodities include plastic, resins, wood and glass;-  $18million annual international spend;-  Rationalize existing supply base, identify and select strategic suppliers, diversify risk, manage social compliance, design and implement scorecard system, and manage on-going business relationships with existing suppliers;-  Help to broaden horizons beyond China and into markets like Vietnam, India, Eastern Europe and Brazil;-  Effectively work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and engineering to build a best-in-class procurement organization. Background Required:  -  Highly energetic individual with 4+ years of global purchasing experience focused in direct / international procurement and contract manufacturing; -  Solid market and business analysis skills;-  Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment managing multiple projects;-  Experience evaluating and implementing tools to make the sourcing process more efficient;-  Bachelor’s Degree a must;-  CPM and/or CPIM preferred;-  Chinese speaking a plus. Compensation Plan:  -  $80-95k + bonus;-  Full benefit package including medical, dental, disability, tuition, stock purchase plan, and 401(k) that vests 100% on day 1. For consideration, please submit your current resume to: Jason BreaultManaging Director TopGrading Solutions519 American Legion Hwy., Suite 12Westport, MA 02790 (508) 636-8418 x201(508) 300-5669 - Fax jason@topgradingsolutions.com My LinkedIn Profile  MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
