For more information visit .General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for managing day to day department workload and activities of Associate and Specialist level publishers; identifying, proposing, and implementing plans for publishing process improvements impacting both the Publishing Department and users/authors outside of the Publishing Department; preparing SOPs; publishing complex submissions using Core Dossier, Insight Publisher, and Documentum; assisting with the software validation and testing to assure it is R&D compliant and working with IT to assure the integration of other R&D systems is compliant with and does not adversely impact the operation of the Publishing systems/software; and participating on R&D Project Teams and other hoc teams, assuring appropriate training of users/authors and advising of potential impact of new and revised regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and usually 7 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry; or Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry; or Doctorate and usually 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry. Required skills include significant relevant publishing experience with demonstrated leadership and ability to recognize and develop solutions in multi-discipline team situations.
