Manager - Enterprise Architecture

Position Summary:Serve as a member of the Manager Enterprise Architecture team for the Information Technology organization responsible for the communication, and adoption of architecture strategies and approaches in support of critical Discovery initiatives. This includes: asset visibility and metadata, Master Data Management, Service Oriented Architecture, Business Process Automation, and definition and rollout of a Systems Development Lifecycle.Responsibilities1.Monitoring and guiding process and application implementations to ensure compliance with adopted business and technology goals.2.Creation of enterprise architecture artifacts including current state architecture, target state architecture, architectural roadmaps, referential architecture patterns and technology standards.3.Developing and delivering documentation that communicates IT enterprise architecture processes, procedures, and frameworks.4.Providing input into the planning, estimating and scheduling of architecture initiatives.5.Participating in early phases of the SDLC to assist in development of scope and going-in" architectures that align with both Business and Technology Architectures.6.Negotiating agreements between business and IT organizations that encourage adoption of architecture standards and practices.7.Contributing to the overall alignment of IT delivery to the needs of the business.8.Monitoring, documenting, and reviewing the impact of proposed architecture changes to the current and future state architectures.9.Identifying, framing, and prioritizing opportunities for improving business, technology, and deployment architectures across members of the Architecture & Development organization.10.Supporting architecture initiatives that involve the roll-out of new architecture capabilities/services in support of new business development.11.Researching, clarifying, and documenting potential impacts of emerging technologies.Requirements* 10 years information systems and/or business information planning experience with at least two years in the definition and coordination of large efforts that span multiple organizations.* Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.* Minimum of 3 years experience performing business process analysis and systems development using business process modeling tools, UML, and related techniques.* Familiar with architecture reference frameworks to support Enterprise level Architecture strategy. * Strong knowledge of business planning, best practices, tools, and technology. * Strong client interface, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work at both the management level and provide hands-on support. * Ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives - with varying levels of priority - and to produce deliverables on-time and within budget.* Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. * Supervisory experience including project management experience.* Strong problem solving skills.* Experience performing business process engineering and knowledge of all phases of systems development lifecycles.* Positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, good problem-solving skills, self-starter, self-motivated, team player. * Willingness to accept varying levels of responsibility in support of projects and initiatives.* Ability to follow project through to completion.* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
