The team currently consists of early stage collections, mid stage collections, and field visits.We are currently seeking a manager, based in Plano, TX, tomanage contracts with outsourced vendors; be responsible for ensuring that the vendor is compliant with Capital One's Third Party Management Policy at all times; and serveas the central point of contact for the vendors.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the vendor's contracts. This includes monitoring the contract and pushing through necessary contractual changes. Manage the vendor relationship to Capital One's Third Party Management policy. Manage a vendor's cross functional performance. This includes managing the holistic performance message when a vendor supports multiple business areas. Help to define interaction models in regards to the vendor relationship when the vendor touches several different business areas. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Vendor Relationship Managers. 30% - 50% travel quarterly and on as needed basis.Job Experience:Basic Qualifications:• 1 year experience in vendor management or managing a collection team in a call center production environment Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance • Process management licenses and certification• 2 years experience in managing a collection team• 2 years experience in vendor management• 5 years experience in project management• 2 years experience in sales / relationship management• 2 years experience in people management• Outstanding influence and relationship-building skills • Strong analytical and execution/implementation skills • Excellent communication, teamwork, and influencing skills • Passion to be a thought leader, leverage networks for learning, be proactive in driving change, and take risks by experimenting• Demonstrate a strong drive and commitment in delivering outstanding results***Capital One will not file non-immigrant visa petitions for alien workers.***No agencies please.
