Job Description Title:  Manager, Business Semantics & Information StrategyResponsibilities:· Advise clients on information management strategies and execution methodologies leveraging subject matter expertise in Investment Reference Data, Market Data, Enterprise Risk Management, Straight-Through Processing and Capital Markets expertise in general.· Conduct assessments for clients on current state of information management programs.  Outline gaps and provide future state recommendations to clients.  Then assist clients implement a future state architecture leveraging Cap Gemini’s Integrated Model Driven Framework and Taxonomy driven information management methodologies and subject matter expertise.· Advise FS-SB U clients in Capital Markets, Insurance and Banking in developing, managing and implementing structured methodologies and frameworks of business semantics modeling (business dictionary modeling).· Advise clients in implementing business dictionary solutions.· Provide investment reference data subject matter expertise to financial services clients.· Develop and maintain methodologies for business semantics modeling and implementation.  Establish best practices that can be provided as blue prints to clients.· Leverage dictionary modeling tools and metadata repositories to enable solutions for clients.  Advise Cap Gemini technical teams on business requirements associated with business semantics.· Collaborate with other BIM strategic consulting sub practices and practice leaders to develop and implement new solutions for clients – i.e. Data Models, Process Models, Cross Dictionary Mappings, etc.· Manage Cap Gemini consulting resources within the Business Semantics subpractice as required.  · Assist establishment of a Centerof Excellence for Business Semantics management at the Cap Gemini off-shore centers in India.  Create and deliver training to BIM off-shore resources.· Participate in OMG and other industry standards organizations involved in evolving the business semantics discipline.  Develop and maintain expertise and leadership in business semantics metadata standards such as ODM and CWM Nomenclature metamodel.· Advise clients on components of an information management program – data governance and stewardship, data quality.· Implement metadata management and governance solutions for clients leveraging industry leading tools such as Adaptive and ASG Rochade.· Advise business clients derive Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.  Provide strategy, business analysis, and implementation know-how and leadership.· Assist BIM strategic consulting leadership team create and take to market new solutions.· Create and publish white papers on business cases and industry innovations.  Present at conferences when required and proactively present Capgemini’s thought leadership in business semantics to the market place.· Participate and support business development activities including RFPs, RFI, Proposal, and client presentations.
