Maintenance Mechanics - Call (866)-516-8363Description: Well-established company is seeking a qualified and experienced mechanic. This company is growing and looking for candidates who will help them achieve their goals.Responsibilities include machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform all repairs on forklifts, conveyors, clamp trucks, maintenance equipment, and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation. Repair tractors, trailers, and company cars as required. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. Prepare company-required reports on labor and equipment. Maintain a log on the history of repairs by type of equipment. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to determine work priorities. Ability to diagnose and make repairs on a variety of plant equipment and systems. Volt is an EOE. Requirements: The ideal candidate must posses knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, standard methods, principles, practices, tools and equipment of the maintenance trades. Training and experience in electronics and hydraulics. Previous warehousing equipment maintenance and repair necessary. High School diploma or equivalent. Technical training and exposure to high-speed equipment. Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8 hour day). Able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch frequently. Looking for candidates open to various shifts.
