Maintenance Manager - Shopping Center

A rapidly expanding St. Louis-based building services provider is looking for a high energy, experienced manager to lead a commercial property maintenance operation at a suburban Denver (Littleton) neighborhood outdoor shopping center.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

This manager provides leadership and oversight to a small operations and housekeeping team. Coordinates work and represents the company to the client with frequent daily interaction with the property manager.

 

Directs and manages Common Area Maintenance (CAM) functions for property including: Maintenance, Landscaping, Housekeeping, Parking Lot, Lighting, etc.

 

May be asked to occasionally assist in soliciting, gathering, evaluating, and selecting vendors.

 

Some computer use (email).

 

Oversee implementation of multiple projects in a cost effective and efficient manner.

 

Responsible for light Handyman maintenance at the property including painting and some electrical, carpentry and plumbing.

 

45-hour work week.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Seeking a PROACTIVE professional who will seek out opportunities to “wow� the client and improve the appearance and maintenance condition of the property.

 

Must have good people skills, good planning ability, and be detail oriented.

 

This position requires 5-7 years experience in facilities or commercial property maintenance, at least 1 of which includes supervisory experience.

 

Reliable transportation with valid Colorado driver license and good motor vehicle driving record.

 

High-school diploma or certified trade school graduate.

 

This is a working manager, “hands-on� position, with some actual cleaning/maintenance work required on a daily basis. Wears uniform.

 

Bilingual (Spanish) required.

Salary/Compensation:

Salary $36,000 - $38,000 per year depending on experience
