Machinist/ Instrument Maker Wanted
Earth and space sciences research organization seeks full-time, experienced machinist to fabricate and help design scientific instruments. Must interpret drawings, produce parts from samples and verbal instructions, and be familiar with basic machine shop tools (lathes, mills, saws, drill presses, etc.). Experience with TIG welding of stainless steel is important, as is the ability to program, set-up and run CNC lathes and mills.
