TRIA Beauty (formerly SpectraGenics, Inc) is a dynamic, venture-backed company founded in early 2003 by the scientists who developed the first diode laser for hair removal (the gold-standard for professional laser hair removal). We've recently received FDA over-the-counter (OTC) clearance for our first product, a personal laser for home hair removal. Our laser hair removal system is just the beginning of a series of skin care devices that deliver breakthrough professional-level results into the consumer market. We have deep technical expertise in energy-based cosmetic devices, a broad technology platform to build upon, and a rich pipeline of new products that address the most important cosmetic benefit areas.

As a TRIA Beauty selling specialist, based in New York City's Bergdorf Goodman department store, your primary mission will be to educate clients on advanced skin care procedures and build a strong and loyal client base. Success in this 30-hour-per-week role will stem from your passion for aesthetics, coupled with your ability to successfully explain and demonstrate why the sophisticated TRIA device was meant for your client. Your solid retail experience, ideally gained from a background in cosmetic sales, will allow you to hit the ground running in this exciting role. Your driven, self-starting nature will enable you to draw clients in--even when floor traffic appears to be slow. Throughout your day, your resourceful networking skills will enable you to partner with Bergdorf Goodman selling consultants, beauty advisors, and other key employees, introducing them to the TRIA device, and ensuring a constant flow of traffic to your dedicated sales counter. A book of sales, while not required, would allow you to extol the virtues of our exciting product to your previous clients.
