Logistics Supervisor

A well-established International Electronics consumer product manufacturing company is seeking logistics supervisor (logistics coordinator position is available as well.)

 

Ideal CandidateSupervise for any import & Export shipments to be arranged and delivered in a timely manner.Ensure all import transactions are executed in compliance with all applicable US Customs laws and regulations, while maximizing duty-savings for the Company.Implement Customs Sections policies and programs in accordance with laws and programs; researches and stays current with changes to Customs laws.Assess the impact of regulatory changes and recommend compliance initiatives.Ensure an accurate, current, and complete HTS classification database in accordance with US Customs laws and regulations.Advise corporate import and export trade compliance management of issues, problems, inquiries, etc.Support global trade compliance strategic initiatives.Monitor broker performance, address service issues and compliance to internal processes and procedures.Administer an internal audit program of all government reporting and documentation with regards to the Customs area.Work independently from general guidelines.Resolve any problems that may occur at U.S. customs, Transportation, Shipping lines, trucking companies and terminals.
