Litigation Support Technical Specialist

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is a private-sector, non-profit corporation, created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, to oversee the auditors of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, fair, and independent audit reports.
Job Description
The PCAOB has a part-time, regular position for a Litigation Support Technical Specialist in the Division of Enforcement and Investigations at its Washington, DC, headquarters office. This key role reports to the Senior Paralegal and requires a proactive person that thrives in a multi-faceted professional environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Upload images, OCR text, e-Docs and any metadata of documents into CT Summation Enterprise® using different load file formats;
· Provide knowledgeable estimates of level of effort, projecting time for all assignments;
· Work closely with paralegals and other Division staff to manage priority levels of all assignments;
· Provide quality control on all project deliverables;
· Quarantine and duplicate media;
· Assist paralegal staff with large Summation printing and search requests;
· Participate in the discussions with outside parties regarding the production of data, including the format of the data to be produced, and how it will be prepared and delivered; and
· Provide technical and litigation for other division-specific software support for the Division of Enforcement and Investigations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or higher education in a related field;
· Proficient with CT Summation® databases (preferable CT Summation Enterprise®), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook applications;
· Working knowledge of job related computer software, i.e. imaging, database and Web technology;
· Working knowledge of structures query language (SQL) for use with databases;
· Working knowledge of programming principles;
· Working knowledge of Citrix;
· Proficient with document storage software programs (such as Concordance), and other litigation support software programs (such as Trial Director) preferred;
· Working knowledge of legal terminology;
· Excellent written and oral communication skills;
· Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills;
· Ability to meet deadlines and make effective decisions;
· A self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task, juggle priorities, and work effectively under pressure;
· Ability to travel some; and
· Ability to work occasional overtime.
