Linehaul/Transportation Specialist - Intermodal

Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for the daily management of FedEx Ground and Smart Post intermodal shipments to include: equipment management, shipment dispatching, shipment tracking, drayage coordination, management reporting and event management.

 

**Current schedule is Thursday - Monday (3pm-1am). Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirement

Bachelors degree in logistics/transportation/supply chain or related.

 

Considered Equivalent Related Experience(in lieu of BS degree)

Eight or more years of related transportation experience, specifically in
dispatch or intermodal operations

 

Minimum year(s) of experience in the following areas
Candidate must have five or more years related transportation experience in operations environement, specifically in dispatch or intermodal operations

 

Work Related Skills
Effective communciation skills. Able to perform analysis from spreadsheets and have good working computer skills/knowledge. Must be a team player and thrive in an environment of continuous change.
