Lead Java Developer

Job Description:This position will be responsible and accountable for leading the design, development, deployment and maintenance of a critical Java based web application used in all our call centers. This will involve working closely with business clients, offshore development teams and all areas of IT. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Internal Web Applications.The ideal candidate will be highly motiviated, self-starting, extremely innovative and a great team player. We are constantly looking for ways to push the envelope of our web sites and improve current solutions.Position will assist plan project releases, and report project status. Support and on-call duties for application will be necessary Education:BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experienceExperience:5 or more years of software development experience.3 or more years Java development experience2 or more years in a team leadership role2 or more years implementing large scale, dynamic websites.Experience working with offshore vendors is also desired Java, WebLogic 8.1.4 and 9.2 environment, HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, AJAX, SQL Server 2005, Oracle DB, Content Management.
