Landscape Operations Manager Los Angeles

Los Angeles based commercial landscape maintenance company is looking for a management team member to cover operations management.  The company services clients in the greater Los Angeles area. The right person will be good with people and have supervised people and crews before.  He should know maintenance and irrigation work and be able to teach as necessary.  This position will hire and fire operational staff, oversee maintenance crews and extra work.  A good working knowledge of Excel and payroll issues will be very helpful.  Essentially this job will over see and be responsible for operational costs and performance.

The job salary will grow as the company grows.  This is a ground floor opportunity with a new team in an existing company that plans to grow.  Starting salary which does not include incentives would be $3000 to $4000 per month based on experience and talent.  Serious upside for the right person who can perform. There is client interface with existing clients and occasionally on large bids.  Normal interface is dealing with existing clients for additional work and to resolve any problems. This person must also be fluent in English and Spanish. We would prefer a college graduate but will consider experience and computer skill sets.  This position is immediately available. Send a resume and cover letter explaining why you are right for this job.
