Lab/Test Engineer

Job Description:For this contract position, you will bring your test experience to this world-renowned software company.Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a set of machines usually in a laboratory setting Troubleshooting hardware and software problems Installing software and running some automated and/or manual tests based on a clear set of instructions Providing status reports on test scenarios, lab/machine issues and configurations Managing the build system and generation of builds Moving and lifting hardware may be requiredJob Experience: 1+ years related work experience Experience setting up computer hardware, installing/upgrading software and operating systems Demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem solving skills General knowledge of personal computers, applications software, and/or operating systems Experience in setting up and administering NT domains desired Some testing experience, batch file or other scripting knowledge preferred Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree or equivalent work experience/training desired Experience with source code control systems and generation of builds a plusMinimum Education Required: Some CollegeYears of Experience Required: At Least 1 Year For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
