Junior maintenance technician

Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Junior maintenance technician  Job Description: Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently seeking two qualified junior-level janitorial/maintenance engineers for work in the Seattle, WA area.The junior engineers must be able to lift fifty pounds and be mobile, as they will be required to climb ladders, enter enclosed spaces, as well as standing, kneeling, twisting, bending, stooping, and lifting.These individuals will be responsible for basic maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as painting and carpentry. These personnel will also be sweeping, power washing, and performing general cleanup. Additionally, candidates must be able to coordinate work with third-party vendors (electricians, HVAC technicians, locksmiths, etc.) to ensure that work is completed in a timely fashion. It is imperative that these personnel are able to quickly and efficiently complete all work orders in accordance with company policy.Computer skills are also required, specifically MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook are required. Utilizing this software to complete inventory logs, ordering, and reporting as necessary is crucial to the position. The junior engineers must be able to understand architectural layouts/blueprints.Candidates must be able to pass a drug and background screen as well as a credit history review. Additionally, candidates must possess own personal reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver license.Positions are full-time contract on the day shift with some overtime/weekend work as needed; pay rate is $15-16/hour. Applicants must have RECENT, applicable experience.
