Junior and Senior Demandware/Java Developers - Contract to Hire Opportunity - Plano, Texas

Job Description:Genesis10 is in need of 4 junior and senior level Demandware/Java Developers on a contract-to-hire basis for a major client in Plano, Texas. The developers will join our clients e-commerce team to create, maintain and optimize fully-functional e-commerce websites. Responsibilities:- Work with management and implementation team to understand business requirements.- Create and document design specifications.- Produce accurate project estimates for the sales cycle and design phase Web Development.- Implement dynamic, data-driven e-commerce websites.- Collaborate with project managers and other developers to meet schedules and deliverables.- Work with lead developers to determine which technologies solutions are appropriate.Job Experience:Required Experience/Skills:- Four-year college degree or equivalent.- 3+ years experience web application development.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Ability to write elegant, efficient and well documented code.- Expert knowledge of Javascript, HTML / CSS, DHTML and AJAX.- Expert knowledge of XML and web services (SOAP), and integration with 3rd party systems.- Object-oriented programming.- Familiarity and adherence to web standards.- Expert knowledge of database concepts, design and T-SQL.Preferred Experience/Skills:- Experience building and maintaining e-commerce websites, including related technologies such as payment gateways, tax software providers, etc.- Experience working with 3rd-party web technologies, like Scene7, Fluid or RichFX.- Working knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and Visual Studio.- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.- Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as Subversion, Source Safe, MS Team Server, Sharepoint, etc.- Experience with Flash and ActionScript.- Experience with the Demandware e-commerce platform and the Eclipse IDE is unexpected, but a nice bonus!This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team.
