Fast growing consulting company located in Tysons Corner, Virginia is seeking a Junior Java Web Programmer to develop web applications.

Qualifications include experience with the following:

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â - Java, JSP and Tomcat .do Action

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â - Javascript, CSS and HTML

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â - SQL

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â - Visual Basic a plus

Â

Candidate should have a practical working knowledge of designing, developing and implementing web applications running in Tomcat, has supported and enhanced existing web applications and company web site.Â The ideal candidate will be self motivated and able to work independently.Â This position reports to the companyâ€™s chief programmer.Â

Responsibilities will include

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Developing and supporting web applications utilizing Java, Tomcat, andÂ Â MySQL Database.

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Document application design and user manual.

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â -Â Developing Macro (VBA) functions for Excel Spreadsheet

Education and Experience:Â BS in Computer Science from an accredited college or university and 2 to 3 years of experience in Java Web Programming.
