PMI is seeking an experienced, individual to support activities related to item development and exam form creation for all PMI credentialing exams. This includes continued maintenance of items and aggregate item pools, compilation of examination forms, including translations, and monitoring/tracking item production. Monitors and maintains designated Item Banking software.
· Enter, edit and review items into PMI’s item database (CERTS), following established standards and software protocols, ensuring accordance with existing procedures, including grammar, context, flow of choices, and overall proofreading for quality.
· Edit and update new/revised items from workshops as provided by Exam Developers.
· Assist Exam Developers in the editing of documents for examination computer-based testing as well as the preparation of paper-based exam documents for delivery to vendor.
· As part of the editing process, update item references as needed to ensure alignment with existing reference materials, based on direction from department management and with assistance from Exam Developers.
· Assist Exam Developers in quality control for exam forms, including review of queuing, key, content, classification, status, etc.
· Maintain database and monitor volunteer SMEs item production and retainment.
· Assist in quality checks of examination formats and content when exams are republished.or new exams are introduced.
· Work with vendor and Exam Developers in the transfer of items and forms in relation to publishing and republishing requests
Requirements:
· Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in English or editorial discipline).
· Minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced, service organization or equivalent with a demonstrated track record of positive relationships and meeting deliverables with quality products.
· Detail oriented, with experience and self-reliance to perform and coordinate administrative tasks.
· Identify, check/cross check, and maintain detailed information for diverse information tracking and reporting for high volume activities.
· Ability to compile and proofread multiple complex documents.
· Prepare, facilitate and present various forms of information and reports.
