Inventory/Service Technician - Pumps

Flygt range includes submersible pumps, mixers, and mechanical aeration equipment that are used in environments ranging from water and wastewater treatment, raw water supply, abrasive or contaminated industrial processes, mining and construction as well as irrigation.

 

We are currently seeking a inventory/service technician individual to perform an interesting variety of mechanical and electrical (120 to 460 volts) duties ranging from the wiring, converting and basic testing to the repair and troubleshooting of pumps and parts over the phone, in the shop, or on location.  Duties also include, but are not limited to, insuring the accurate receipt, storing and shipment of inventory; identifying, removing and safely packing parts, pumps and material for daily shipment; and timely processing of all inventory and service paperwork.

 

Qualified individuals must have strong mechanical aptitude in troubleshooting and assembly.  In addition candidates must have knowledge of electrical systems and be able to read wiring schematics and troubleshoot control panels on the component level.  Must be hands on and savvy with tools.  Light industrial construction experience a plus.  Moderate physical demand and exposure to shop and occasional field elements.  Individual must be a team player.  Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.  Position requires High School diploma or equivalent, additional education or specialized training or equivalent experience.
