Production Internships at TV Guide!
We have very exciting intern opportunities available at our TV Guide Network production offices (view website here http://www.tvguide.com/Channel/) These positions will be non-paid, though offer a foot into the Entertainment Industry and a very valuable corporate work experience!
We plan to fill these positions immediately and have our interns start in September.
TV Guide Network is offering Internships in the following areas:
Fashion Team
Works with Producer of Fashion themed show; Interest in Fashion, MS word proficient.
Reality Chat/Idol Chat
Works with Producers of Reality TV & American Idol Recap Show; Interest in Reality TV, esp Dancing With the Stars; MS word proficient.
Editorial/Booking
Works with Editorial Manager and Talent Bookers; Interest in TV Production and passion for pop culture. MS word proficient and confident on the phone. Must be MS Word proficient.
TV Watercooler
Work with Producers of weekly pop culture-themed show. Should watch a lot of TV and be hungry to get foot in the door. Know new and old celebs and have appetite for celeb breaking news. Must be MS Word proficient.
inFANity
Work with Producers of weekly on set, behind the scenes show. Should watch a lot of current TV and be hungry to get foot in the door. Will work with APs and PAs to help prep show, and will be able to participate in production from inception to booking, through filming and post production. Must be MS Word proficient.
TV Guide Specials
Work with Producers of TV Guide Specials unit. Must have a passion for pop culture and an interest in a variety of TV genres (reality, drama, comedy). Must be MS Word proficient.
Live Events
Work with Producers of Red Carpet Specials (*note: no further events in 2007)and Big Movie Premieres. Interest in celebrity culture and proficiency at MS Word
Hollywood 411
Must have interest in working on a daily, entertainment news show.l Must be resourceful and a good researcher. Keen interest and knowledge of celeb culture and entertainment in general. Previous intern experience at a network helpful, but not mandatory.
