Instructional Designer Developer Sr
Job Description:Summary: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota offers a culture where people of many diverse backgrounds, talents and insights work cooperatively to make a healthy difference in the communities we serve. Our Compliance Division has immediate openings for an experienced Instructional Designer with experience developing E-Learning programs.The position is located in Eagan, MN.Accountabilities: 1. Performs needs analysis and task analysis, and writes objectives for training programs.2. Consults with various stakeholders to identify learning objectives, program content and contract requirements.3. Designs and develops instructionally sound and accurate training curriculum including lesson plans and classroom materials. 4. Creates design documents that specify performance and learning objectives, measure of learner's grasp, learning materials design specifications, and learning impact (business results).5. Creates course content, in collaboration with subject matter experts, including E-Learning and blended solutions.6. Creates instructional materials in a variety of media including computer-based, classroom, etc.7. Contributes as a member of internal/external project teams.8. Analyzes and evaluates existing and experimental training curricula and strategies.9. Evaluates learning/training solutions per learning objectives.Required Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Instructional Design, Instruction and Curriculum, or a related field and 5 years training experience—some of which must include E-Learning experience or 9 years training experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.2. Demonstrated ability in designing e-learning instructional solutions-including scripting.3. Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills.4. Familiarity/experience with the course development process.5.
