Inside Sales Rep

Description This is business to business inside sales role in a dynamic, energetic and intelligent environment. Our sales process is done through outbound phone calls in a creative, question driven and consultative dialogue.  Our company is a small custom kitting/distribution emergency preparedness/safety supply organization. The ideal candidate must be flexible to wear different "hats", have a good memory for repetitive duties & product knowledge, comfortable and willing to work in an office and warehouse environment equally.  This is a customer centric driven position that requires attention to detail, good listening skills, creative thinking, flexibility and maturity.  Must be able to work independently as well as side by side with others including the owners. We need a hard worker, "slackers" need not apply! This position is full time or can be part time for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of finding, qualifying, strategizing, proposing and closing business over the phone and email.   At least one year of successful B2B sales experience and a track record of exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment is preferred. Excellent prospecting skills, high-volume outbound cold-calling and solid closing skills to turn quotes into orders are required. Candidate must have PC proficiency:

Requirements: Self starter, self organized, self sufficient and self-motivated Ability to creatively research and identify leads using the internet and other sources. Excellent telephone skills. Confidence to make cold calls a must. Strong sense of urgency for follow-thru and management of prospect pipeline.  Strong aptitude for completion of tasks, start to finish. Ability to create urgency to act on proposed solutions and closing the sale over the phone. Excellent communication and written skills. Safety and/or Emergency Preparedness background is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Word and Excel needed, Power Point is helpful. Business to Business or Inside Sales Experience Positive energy. Takes initiative. Ability to multi-task. Motivation to make money is essential! Strong work ethic. Excellent organizational skills.
