IT System Support Technician

Manfredi Cold Storage, founded in 1986, stores and handles food products from over 28 different countries. We are a high tech, computer oriented operation which operates in excess of 50 windows based workstations, 13 on board wireless computer terminals mounted on forklifts, and multiple servers running Windows Server 2003. We continue to look for innovative solutions to our warehousing operations including the areas of data capture, shipping documents and reports, as well as material handling equipment. Although this position is for a junior level applicant, we would like this person to evolve and show us capabilities for advancement within our organization. Job Description:

IT System Support Technician is responsible for the day to day management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of desktop systems and environments. This includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and mobile computer hardware, software and peripherals. In addition, the technician will perform some network related tasks, including monitoring of network backups, setup of new users, and maintenance of Exchange mailboxes. This is a junior level position, working closely with the IT Manager.

Skills/Qualifications:

Solid desktop support and troubleshooting skills.

Previous Windows XP, Windows CE, and Windows Server 2003 experience.

Excellent communication skills required.

Strong in Windows servers, applications.

Strong in MS Office XP and 2007.

Highly motivated and independent worker willing to take on new challenges.

Associates Degree or Bachelor's preferred; certifications considered.
