The PM/BA is responsible for creating the project plan and project budget, then managing against that plan and budget. The PM/BA is also responsible for leading technical design sessions and providing direction to the technical staff (e.g. developers, DBAs). REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in IT field or 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 (three) years of technical experience (e.g. developer, DBA, systems architect) Minimum of 3 (three) years IT project management experience ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following skills are desirable: - Hands-on .NET web development or other web development skill set RESPONSIBILITIES: Interacting with business-side managers, directors, and VPs to understand business challenges and propose IT solutions Developing a project charter Validating project objectives with stakeholders Gathering business requirements Assessing business requirements and proposing solutions Identifying existing and future processes/work-flows Developing technical solutions and specs (systems design) Evaluating vendors and software products Creating RFIs / RFPs (Request for Information, Request for Proposal) Developing detailed project plans Developing detailed project budgets Managing projects against plan and budget Presenting application demos to technical and non-technical audience Performing post implementation reviews
