IT Project Manager

Job Description:For this contract position, you will join a growing team that will implement a new system at a large utility company.Job Experience: 5+ years related work experience Experience managing several large-scale (10 to 20 Terabytes) data analysis and storage projects Experience in all aspects of IT project management from hardware infrastructure through application development and deployment Experience in developing and managing RFP and procurement processes Experience in various project management tools and can produce project related documents such as project charters, plans, risk analysis, work breakdowns, budgets, resource loading and MS project based schedules A proven track record of delivering projects that meet the Business and IT requirements on time and budget A proven track record of having to coordinate their project and resources with up to a dozen other projects in the (AMI) program as well as daily operation demands on the supporting staff Experience in working in an Electrical Utility environment particularly in the Distribution, Metering, Customer Information and Usage analysis areas preferred Project Management Institute PMP or equivalent certification preferred IBM P570 AIX, Oracle and WebSphere environments experience preferredMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
