IT Manager - Canton, MA

Next Generation Vending and Food Service, Inc., a successful, regional leader in the Vending, Dining and Office Refreshment services industry is seeking an IT Manager to work in our Corporate office located in Canton, MA.

 

This is a temp to perm opportunity. Our ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of IT systems including software platforms, software development, internet/web technologies along with strong project management skills and strong customer focus.

 

Primary responsibilities are to manage the design, development, release, and maintenance of: Business applications and computer systems that improve processes and support critical business strategies. Database administration functions as well as system programming, troubleshooting, and system management within the technical services of all database-related services (storage, access, security, reporting)

The successful candidate will also: Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines Have proven problem solving of complex issues involving cross-functional teams Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Identify, procure, and track project management resources (this includes internal/external people) and ensure project schedule integrity Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system

 

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education: BA/BS in computer science, information technology, or related field, Masters preferred Demonstrated knowledge of application development and management Working knowledge of relational database design concepts Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment ?Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks ?Analytical and problem solving skills ?Decision making skills ?effective verbal, presentation and listening communications skills Skilled in overseeing project plans, business case development and assessing IT project/program risks.

Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education: Hyperion and Great Plains experience Salesforce.com and applications that integrate with this platform
