Job Description:Do you have the expertise to manage an IT team for application production support?Do you dream of working with colleagues who share your passion and will challenge you to push the envelope?Oriental Trading Company has an Opportunity for YOU!Oriental Trading Company (), the nation’s leading direct marketer of value-priced novelties, toys, and party supplies is looking for talented people who want a build a great career and make the world more fun!Right now, Oriental Trading Company, Inc. is seeking an Application Support and Release Manager to take an active role in managing all aspects of production support as it relates to applications within the IT Application Development area.This will include the definition and deployment of incident resolution processes as well as being accountable for the execution and compliance of process across the IT organization.This individual will be responsible for the coordination and verification of all software changes to the development, QA/Test, and production environments for the IT Application Development team.In addition, this person will manage and maintain the repository for code, documentation, and configuration settings and will also facilitate the change, authorization, and communication processes for all code drops and migrations.The principal roles and responsibilities will include the coordination and management of the team responsible for production support and release management.They will be in charge of leading efforts to support the diagnosis and repair of software incidents occurring in the production environment, andformulating and defining systems SLA’s jointly with the business and IT teams that are acceptable, reasonable and measureable for reporting purposes.They will be responsible for policies and processes associated with production support and release management as well as ensuring that proper configuration documentation is created and test suites meet the appropriate criteria.This individual will be responsible for validating release plans with project teams and communicates installation configuration and settings as well as coordinates software releases into production.Job Experience:The ideal candidate will possess:· A Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field· 5 years of IT experience· ITIL Foundations preferred· Minimum of 3 years in a lead role within production support or release management preferred· Minimum 2 years of personnel management· Minimum of 5 years AS/400 Experience· Knowledge of Source Control Tools, Release Management standards and best practices, Knowledge of Relational Databases, strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle At Oriental Trading Company, we help families, teachers, businesses and non-profit organizations make their world more fun!
