Location: Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 Contact Email: Apply by Email JobRefCode: INSPMGR022912 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair Experience: 2+ to 5 Years       Job Description   POSITION:   INSPECTION MANAGER SimplexGrinnell, an integrated unit of Tyco International Ltd., is a recognized leader in the manufacture, sales and service of state-of-the-art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, integrated security (access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm), communications, nurse call, portable fire extinguishers, suppression and sprinkler fire protection systems.  Our continued growth has produced a need for an experienced Inspection Manager in our Cranberry Twp., PA location. RESPONSIBILITIES ·  Manage and operate a large Service Inspection Department (8 Million Dollars)·  Hire, Train, and Motivate a Staff of Sprinkler and Electronic Inspectors·  Champion Six Sigma Service Delivery Process·  Ensure timely inspection scheduling and execution to meet contractual and customer expectations·  Review inspection reports for quality, completeness and accuracy·  Maintain electronic file system for all service reports·  Establish productivity goals and meet or exceed them·  Customer retention through focus on delivery performance and customer satisfaction·  Perform field customer site visits and service audits·  Perform on-time employee performance reviews and set achievable improvement goals·  Coordinate with Dispatch Team, Deficiency Team, and Sales Team·  Order and maintain proper truck stock and tool inventories·  Interact with other District Management to furnish a cohesive working environment·  Ensure complete understanding of Company Policies and review with field technicians to promote understanding and compliance on a daily basis·  Actively participate in quickly resolving customer problems·  Ensure that effective performance measures are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and exceed objectives in a professional, timely, and quality manner·  Actively instill the four core values in your work and the work of your team (Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Integrity) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5-Years or more experience in the fire protection / life safety industry or equivalent industry College degree or equivalent educational experience Understanding of P&L and the ability to oversee sales activities Demonstrated leadership with effective verbal and written communication skills Proficient with MS Office, Excel as well as online systems Knowledge of applicable fire regulations and codes Valid Drivers License 3-Years of Service Management experience with a proven track record of success 3-Years Field Experience preferred Process Oriented / Attention to Detail / Positive Attitude Possess Strong Leadership and Business acumens Possess ability to make and implement organizational changes Punctuality and Accountability Ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment Possess communication / presentation skills / good customer service skills Ability to Lead and Manage differing Teams and Projects at the same time Ability to own and drive ever changing company initiatives Candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screen. SimplexGrinnell is a division of Tyco Fire and Security, an International Organization with representation in more than 800 offices in 51 countries.  We offer an exceptional compensation and benefits package that includes the vehicle fleet program, educational assistance, employee stock purchase and matching 401(k) plans along with incentive opportunities in a highly –charged but friendly work environment. SimplexGrinnell is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V This position is local and does not include relocation. If you meet the minimum qualifications, please forward your resume to bsommer@simplexgrinnell.com with the reference:  INSPMGR022912  Only candidates who possess the above minimum qualifications will be considered.
