Human Resources Trainer/Recruiter

USM-Whelan's has a history of consistent and robust growth as well as an excellent reputation in our industry. As a result, we have a need for a Human Resources Trainer/Recruiter in our Ronkonkoma, NY office.

 

We are looking for a candidate that has had both Recruiting and Training experience within the Human Resources Field. This candidate must be able to travel at least 50% of the time and be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

 

 

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·  Recruiting and conducting phone interviews for field and office employees.

·  Scheduling and training of new employees.

·  Helping employees with their personal needs and answering questions about company policies.

·  Screen and test applicants.

·  Perform background checks, drug and social security checks.

·  Complete new hire packages.

·  Attend Job Fairs and run job placement ads.

·  Develop forms, articles as needed for the betterment of  the company ; updating, distributing and reproducing them.

·  Help implement a safety training program and various management and systems training throughout the company.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·  Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

·  Must be able to travel 50% of time throughout the US.

·  Previous safety training and OSHA knowledge helpful.

·  Previous recruitment experience needed.

·  Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

·   Ability to prioritize and utilize time management skills.
